ABOUT ME

DDA_4308.jpg

My love for voice work started from a young age when I began recording broadcast radio plays and commercials while attending school.

My voiceover career has always run alongside my job as an actor; I had the skills to learn quickly and soon began working across all genres of the industry, through my voiceover agent of over 20 years, Nicola Richardson at Qvoice.

Entering the gaming world of 'Fable 3' was a surreal experience and required a lot of stamina for the fight sequences. Playing 'Snowball', the Polish Pomeranian in '101 Dalmation St' for Disney, I had to draw upon many skills including learning how to howl, choke and run at the same time!

Commercial campaigns for Garnier, 121, Skips, BHS and Peugeot are amongst adverts for Kingsmill, Bepanthen and Robinson's. I've also leant my voice to car manufacturers, banks, phone and tech companies and even a cigar company.

My first audiobook series was recorded at Chivers Press in Bath, later known as BBC Audiobooks. I recorded many dramas for BBC Radio2 and BBC Radio4, working alongside some of the best producers and actors.

I had the incredible opportunity to perform a radio play, 'Head Over Heels' by Andrea Solomons, in front of an audience. The performance took place at BBC's Wogan House and we had a Foley artist on stage with us, creating all the sound - live.

Whether it be in commercials, comedy, corporate work, drama, or documentary - getting just the right tone for the client is where I excel; with a trusted, familiar and reassuring voice.
